Over the years, we have created a world-class research and development laboratory, with some of the foremost experts on oil shale development in the United States leading our technology development team. Our people and laboratory have been instrumental in successfully developing the HCCO^® process and are key to its continual refinement.

The initial focus of the laboratory has been to develop our significant deposit in Utah. The same tools and resources are used to assess other deposits, as well as to customize our technology for their development.

In addition to furthering our present technologies and supporting the development of our assets around the world, our R&D team is continually working to find new opportunities that will keep Red Leaf at the forefront of the energy transition industry.
